Turning market signals into marketing that moves the business

Start with whatever brought you here. Each path shows the real work behind it, then hands you a résumé built to match.
Path 01 · IT Marketer for MSPs

Marketing to the people who distrust marketing.

Most marketers attack the technical angle first. It builds credibility, but there are humans under the expertise. The repeatable funnel doesn't come from choosing between buying behavior and technical proof. It comes from combining them. Four pieces of work that show what that looks like:

An interactive conversation guide that arms partners mid-call

Challenge

Partners carry hundreds of vendors. Anunta was an unknown quantity. How does a partner know what we do, and when to bring us up, while they're live on a call, under pressure to hit services quotas?

What I did

I built a low-cognitive-load conversation guide with a branching, pick-your-path structure. I distilled the customer challenges where Anunta is a clear asset into quick-link, follow-me prompts. It deliberately steers partners away from diagnostic conversations and acts as a recommendation engine, teeing up the Anunta conversation while making the partner look like the trusted advisor.

Why it matters

It's field enablement, not content: a repeatable motion a rep can run live, no technical expertise required. It builds a bridge between the customer's problem and our solution at the exact moment of the conversation.

You're navigating one right now. This portfolio uses the same mechanic the tool does, because guiding someone to the right answer is the skill.

Turning 22,000 cold contacts into buying signals

Challenge

22,000 email contacts and a marketing-averse IT audience. We needed a repeatable path to find the few who were actually in-market, without the spray-and-pray this audience tunes out.

What I did

I built systematic content clusters (email, blog, interactive tools, scorecards) for each service line, optimized with AI tooling for SEO/AEO. Behavioral signals surface who's actively researching which service, and those accounts move into highly personalized, high-intent content. Less a nurture stream than an account-intelligence engine: the behavior tells us where the buying interest is.

Microsoft ecosystem

Several clusters target Microsoft workloads directly, Intune optimization and Azure Virtual Desktop / Windows 365 migration paths.

Result

There was no vanity baseline to beat: the old model counted anyone who touched marketing as a lead. I rebuilt the MQL around real engagement and demographic fit, so 22,000 contacts distill through a disciplined funnel (609 interested, then 139 high-intent, then 74 sales-ready) and sales gets MQLs it can actually trust. One of them is a $600K opportunity now in flight.

Turning a vendor's disruption into a repeatable play

Challenge

When a major platform vendor restructured, it forced roadmap decisions onto IT teams that weren't ready for them. That disruption was a market signal, and a moment with a shelf life.

What I did

I packaged the moment into a repeatable go-to-market motion the field could run: a practical field guide to migrations, a resource-prioritization tool, and an exit-readiness quiz that meets buyers exactly where their doubt is.

Result

Behaviorally identified high-interest contacts opened at 38–53% and clicked at 7–9%: more than 14x the open rate of a broad send (about 3%), and many times the clicks. Finding the right people by behavior changed the economics of the campaign.

Playing where the category gets defined

Challenge

Gartner analysts don't just cover the digital-workspace category, they define it. The most upstream growth move isn't running demand into the category; it's showing up at the Summit with a point of view sharp enough to move how the people who draw the map see you.

What I did

I built Anunta's entire Gartner Digital Workspaces Summit presence around one idea: say the quiet part out loud. The booth (#600) turned it into an experience: an anonymous-confessions typewriter asking "what's the hardest part of running a digital workspace?", a Human Slot Machine, and a field-guide capture. On stage, our VP of Growth debuted the Digital Workspace Transition Framework (the argument that projects stall from unspoken misalignment, not bad tools) backed by the content suite I co-authored. Around all of it, a structured analyst-engagement plan aimed at Magic Quadrant positioning.

Why it matters

One integrated motion (experiential, thought-leadership, and analyst-facing) all laddering to a single narrative. It's a repeatable way to read where the category is heading and shape our place in it: the same muscle that reads where a partner ecosystem's priorities are moving before they surface in a report.

Building the whole function from a blank page.

I walk into organizations with no marketing engine and build one that drives real revenue. I've built and staffed the teams, stood up the infrastructure, and created the systems from scratch, across a managed-services provider, a corporate L&D company, a digital agency, and for consulting clients. Standing up North America marketing from a blank page

Challenge

Anunta needed a North America marketing function built essentially from scratch: the messaging, the systems, the demand engine, and a credible way to reach an IT audience that distrusts marketing.

What I did

I established the foundation: a clear messaging framework, a redefined marketing-to-sales handoff, and HubSpot best practices that improved data quality and attribution. I rebuilt demand strategy around buying signals rather than lead volume, stood up partner-facing enablement programs, and rebuilt the company website in HubSpot in four weeks.

Result

The new function contributed over $4M in partner-influenced pipeline and drove roughly $250K in pipeline from the behavior-driven model. The no-form engagement approach I designed reached 84% assessment completion with a marketing-averse IT audience, without traditional lead capture.

Building a marketing department that helped land a $16M contract

Challenge

Intrepid Learning, a corporate L&D company with a SaaS learning platform, needed to move its brand from respectable to memorable and position the company for what became its acquisition by Xerox.

What I did

As Acting Marketing Director, I built, staffed, and managed the marketing team from the ground up, standing up the entire function: digital content production, platform management, lead lifecycle and content scoring, event production, and PR. I integrated Salesforce, Silverpop, and website analytics into one view of the customer journey.

Result

The function generated over 60% of the company's new business. A lead scoring system I built turned 15% of leads into sales-ready prospects; a team of four produced roughly 225 content pieces in three years; and a website redesign cut bounces 25% and lifted conversion 15%. One campaign led to a $16M long-term contract with a Fortune 100 internet company, and the work helped position Intrepid for its Xerox acquisition.

Building the engine that put an agency's expertise on the map

Challenge

Point It, a digital agency, had deep expertise but needed the marketing infrastructure and market presence to prove it, along with a repositioning both inside the company and out.

What I did

I built the marketing infrastructure, content library, and promotional engine from scratch, launched a company repositioning internally and externally, and stood up a virtual workshop program featuring industry experts. I coached internal subject-matter experts on personal branding, blogging, award submissions, and speaking.

Result

Web traffic grew 157% in two years, and a team of two produced 45 content pieces, building a durable content and thought-leadership engine that reinforced the agency's position in the market.

Taking a solo HR consultant from stuck to scaling

Challenge

Cortney was a talented HR consultant but a classic solo practitioner: skills, a website, and hustle, with no way to get in the door. Prospects didn't understand what she did, because she was selling the how (culture change) instead of the why anyone needed it.

What I did

As chief strategist, I ran an in-person working session to map the personas invested in her work, then packaged her offerings around the challenges those buyers actually face. I delivered a full marketing playbook: messaging, packages, the site's information architecture, content topics, and a dated calendar of deliverables. Then we built the brand and designed, wrote, and developed a new website.

Result

She qualified prospects fast with discovery questions and cut time-to-purchase in half. She landed over $50K from the event and networking plan, claims 20x+ ROI on the investment, and tripled her business in three months, growing from a one-woman shop to a team serving clients across Washington. In her words, the playbook "never stops being useful."

Path 03 · AI Content Engineer

Team-scale output, at a velocity that used to need a team.

I use AI as an amplifier for quality, not a shortcut for volume. Working solo, I ship the kind of interactive tools, content systems, and thought leadership that used to require developers, a content team, and weeks of lead time. Four builds that show what one marketer can produce now:

A six-step VDI migration complexity tool, built without a dev team

Challenge

IT buyers weighing a VDI migration face a genuinely hard question (how complex will this actually be, and which platform fits) whose honest answer depends on dozens of interacting variables. Most vendors just push a demo. We wanted to hand buyers a real diagnostic that respects their intelligence.

What I did

I built an interactive complexity assessment that walks a buyer through six dimensions (situation, environment, applications, workforce, platforms, and results) in about three minutes. It carries real logic: contextual tooltips like flagging that existing Microsoft 365 licenses may already entitle them to Azure Virtual Desktop, a weighted complexity score, and platform matching across AVD, Windows 365, Citrix, Omnissa, and managed DaaS. It ends by teeing up a discovery conversation, not a hard sell. This is the kind of tool that traditionally needs a developer and weeks of build time. I designed and shipped it as a marketer, with AI.

Why it matters

A live, self-serve diagnostic that qualifies and educates buyers before sales is ever involved, and doubles as a resource the field and partners can point to.

An Intune decision tool with real Microsoft pricing modeled in

Challenge

Microsoft is folding advanced Intune capabilities into E3 and E5 by July 2026, whether IT teams are ready or not. That is a decision point for teams on SCCM, Citrix, or a patchwork, and an activation opportunity for teams already on Intune. Buyers needed help seeing what it means for their specific tenant and budget.

What I did

I built an assessment that turns that market moment into a personalized recommendation. It captures the buyer's platform and environment, then has them drag-rank their priorities (stability, security and compliance, AI readiness, cost, team capacity, migration speed) and weights the result accordingly. The hard part: I modeled real Microsoft per-tier list pricing (E3, E5, Business Premium, F3, and more, including the July 2026 changes) so the cost picture is genuinely useful rather than hand-wavy. It outputs cost, complexity, and a recommended path you can print or save.

Why it matters

A timely, self-serve tool that meets buyers at a real budget event and turns a confusing licensing change into a clear next step, again built solo rather than by a dev team.

Turning sales-call transcripts into content the market actually wants

Challenge

The best signal about what the market needs is sitting in sales calls, in the exact language buyers use about their problems. But that insight usually dies in the recording while marketing guesses at topics. We wanted content grounded in real conversations, not assumptions.

What I did

I built a system called Notes from the Field. I pull transcripts from real sales calls, use AI to mine them for the recurring situations and questions buyers actually raise, research the market context around each, and turn them into published thought-leadership pieces that answer a real need, one situation at a time. AI accelerates the transcript analysis, the research, and the drafting; I own the judgment about which insights are worth publishing and how to frame them for a skeptical IT reader. The pieces go out under the field team's byline, and the engine behind them is mine.

Why it matters

A repeatable engine that converts the raw signal from sales conversations into credible, market-matched content, closing the loop between what buyers actually say and what marketing publishes.
